FAQ

What’s the total Carat Weight of the Amour Eternity Band?

The total care of the eternity band will really depend on the finger size you wear and I’m talking about the version where I make quarter caraters because if we’re talking about the Amour in diamond sizes that are larger than 1 ⁄ 4 carat the carat weight would change. So it’s a variable carat weight depending on the size finger.

How do you calculate the stones?

I have a way to calculate. It’s a shared prong ring; the stones are round, and we’re talking about quarter characters, which are usually 4.1 millimeters in diameter. So let’s say if your finger size is a size six; the approximate carat weight will depend on hope many stones are needed for a size 6, I need 16 stones so that’ll be a 4 carat ring. What happens if we change finger size to 4 and ½ , it needs 15 stones, which means a quarter carat less that will be 3.75 carat weight, keeping everything else constant. Let’s see if I could calculate; let’s say you have a bigger size, size eight and 1⁄2. I need 17 stones, which is 4.25 carats, so the answer, I would say on average, would be 4 carats. Sometimes, an extra stone is required to be 4.25 carats. Sometimes, one less stone than 16 to 15 stones it will be 3.75. Now if you do the same style ring and instead of doing quarter, caraters do say, thirds each stone is a third of a carat.
